Scientific interests in a nutshell:
Animal behavior has always been one of the things that has fascinated me since I was a child, understanding the "why" of a certain action or reaction, all combined, always, with a strong passion for the sea and for sharks. I believe it is of fundamental importance to study and understand the behavior, ecology, and interaction with the anthropic sector of the various shark species, to be able to talk about the sustainability of the fishing sector and the conservation and protection of our seas. Making those who "live the sea" aware of the ecological importance of sharks is one of the objectives that I hope to pursue, with determination and passion, during my career and the path as a research fellowship of the Anton Dohrn Zoological Station, engaging in a series of activities that aim to: (I) harmonize the activities of taking at sea, (II) correct management of marine resources, (III) conservation and protection of endangered species through telemetry techniques.
